SHS Global, New U.S. Rep for Theatrixx, Starts Selling New (Not Just Used) Equipment
AUSTIN, TX – SHS Global has been named the U.S. representative of Theatrixx, a Montreal-based manufacturer of power distribution systems. Theatrixx also distributes various LED products in the Americas: Visualed touring LED screens, X-Vision installation LED screens, and Theatrixx’s own brand of X-Vision LED fixtures. The agreement means that SHS Global will serve as the U.S. distributor for those products, while Theatrixx continues to distribute those brands in Canada, Mexico and South America.

OTTAWA — A squall knocked down the main stage overhead rig on the last day of the 12-day Cisco Ottawa Bluesfest on Sunday, July 17, about 20 minutes after Cheap Trick started performing. The band members and most of the crew were reported to be okay and no fatalities were reported. The overhead truss and gear fell backward, away from the crowd, onto some trucks. Three people were hospitalized and released, including Sandy Sanderson, a truck driver for Cheap Trick, who sustained the most serious injuries.
