AVT Event Technologies and Encore Productions Using CAST Software’s Vivien

TORONTO — AVT Event Technologies and Encore Productions announced that CAST Software Ltd.’s Vivien will be serving as their company-wide standard software solution for conceiving, designing, selling, managing, and producing events. AVT Event Technologies and Encore Productions are divisions of Dallas based Freeman. Freeman’s Canadian division, AVW-TELAV, rolled out the Vivien Standard mid-2010. AVT and Encore will begin their rollout of the Vivien Standard effective immediately. CAST will also supply training and tech support.

LAS VEGAS — It’s not easy to stand out in the night skyline of Las Vegas, but the Tropicana is turning heads nightly with an ongoing 3D video projection on the exterior of the building. The projection was designed and installed by LD Systems of Houston using Hippotizer media servers, Barco 20K projectors and 3D media content provided by Texas Video & Post, with 2D content by SKG Advertising of Las Vegas.

Vaddio added the ClearVIEW HD-19 high definition PTZ camera with SmartSHOT technology to its ClearVIEW line of cameras. Equipped with a 19x optical zoom lens, it is built around a 1.3 megapixel, 1/3-Type Sony Exmor high-speed, low-noise CMOS image sensor. Integrated SmartSHOT technology with AIP (Adjustable Image Processing) allows for greater user control over DSP functions, helping them enhance color and sharpness in changing lighting conditions and adjusting the DSP to suit the venue. The camera also offers image stabilization and iris/shutter control for outdoor events.
