Olympic Sailing Center Theatre Equipped with Robert Juliat Followspots

QINGDAO, China – The center that was designed for Olympic sailing events at the southern tip of China's Shandong Peninsula for the 2008 summer games has gotten a second wind as the national Training Centre for Aquatic Sports. It's also home to the annual 10-day Qingdao Sea Culture Festival and the Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center Grand Theater, which has been equipped with four Robert Juliat Aramis 2500W HMI followspots.

In Memoriam: Chris Martin, 60

Chris Martin, a principal at Forman and Associates for the past 12 years, died Jan. 17. He was 60. Martin had a 36-year career in entertainment and architectural lighting sales. He moved to the U.S. from his native England in 1973, started with Olesen Lighting in Hollywood and worked for Colortran Inc. before joining Forman and Associates.
