amBX says its amBIENT XC lighting control system can change the way lighting combines with video and sound to create immersive entertainment experiences. The amBIENT XC is a stand-alone DMX 512 hardware controller for RGB LED lighting fixtures, powered by amBX technology.

American DJ’s new Theatrix Pro 48 LED is an RGB+W color mixing luminaire with 48 one-watt LEDs (12 each red, green, blue and white). It has seven modes of operation with DMX with 4, 5, 7, 8, 11, 16 or 19 channels of control plus stand-alone with built-in color changing programs in automatic or sound activation mode.

ETC has released the iRFR (Radio Focus Remote for iPhone and iPod Touch) and is donating the proceeds to Behind the Scenes and Light Relief. The iRFR offers all the functionality of an ETC Net3™ Radio Focus Remote unit, interfacing to ETC’s Eos®, Ion®, Element™, Congo® and Congo jr control desks.

To assist RDM developers in implementing the RDM physical layer, Goddard Design has introduced the Transceiver Qualification Test Set. It consists of three PC boards that implement all the tests of Appendix F of the RDM standard. 

The Martin MAC 301 Wash™ is an LED moving head wash light with a 13° to 36° zoom range. 108 LEDs produce an RGB color wash and an electronic 7 color + white color wheel rotation effect with snap, blackout or dimmer fade at each color change.

The MDR range of DMX512-A splitters from LSC Lighting Systems can be purchased with optional RDM functionality, Wireless Solutions W-DMX or City Theatrical SHoW-DMX wireless DMX receivers, Powercon power connector or hook clamp mounting brackets for the portable model, or it can be upgraded later.

The ML Finder Pro app for the iPhone from Zinman Software is now available. It features a database with over 500 devices indexed by manufacturer or model including color, gobo, effects systems, DMX values for a parameter, number of channels used, weight, power consumption and more.

Thern Stage Equipment has announced the availability of complete power clew winch systems for loads up to 1100 pounds. Available in single- and three-phase motor configurations, TSE power clew winches feature large diameter, double-compartment grooved drums, welded steel frames and large shaft bearings.

The Ilumipod 48 IP Optic RGBW is an IP66-rated, ETL-approved wash light fitted with 48 red, green, blue and white LEDs. It responds to 3, 4, 5, 6 or 11 channels of DMX512 control but is capable of RGBW mixing with or without DMX512.

Green Hippo’s Hippotizer software version 3.0.13 has several new features including HD-SDI and DVI options, color correction and support for Matrox’s Dual and Triple Head To Go output extenders.
