USITT Book Profiles Jules Fisher’s Career

UVLD, Altered Image Help Forest Labs Launch Savella for Fibromyalgia

SAN DIEGO — Unlimited Visibility Lighting Design (UVLD) was chosen by longtime client Altered Image to provide the lighting design for an event they produced for Forest Laboratories, Inc.  The gathering unveiled Savella, a new treatment option for the estimated six million Americans suffering from fibromyalgia.  Forest Laboratories and Cypress Bioscience, Inc. received FDA approval for Savella in January.

IATSE Locals Unanimously Ratify New Hollywood Basic Agreement

LOS ANGELES — The 15 Hollywood-based locals representing over 35,000 members of the IATSE working in motion picture and television production have ratified the new Hollywood Basic Agreement with the AMPTP.  The three-year contract, which will go into effect August 1, 2009, was tentatively proposed last November, with drafting completed in February.
