For The Who Hits Back! 2022 tour, LD Tom Kenny is using a complement of Ayrton Khamsin fixtures provided by Solotech Las Vegas “to serve as the main key light, light the band and add eye candy,” Kenny says. The North American leg of the tour kicked off in April in Hollywood, FL and wrapped in May in Bethel, NY.
Deftones’ lighting and production designer, Jon Eddy, relied on GLP JDC1 hybrid strobes and Scenex LED Pixel Tape for the band’s trek through North America earlier this year, with Christie Lites serving as the lighting vendor. The band is now performing in Europe with GLP and Scenex gear from Entec Live.

Theatre Communications Group (TCG) is pleased to announce the recipients of $10,000 RESPOND grants as part of the THRIVE! Uplifting Theatres of Color program. With $1,635,000 in support from Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, TCG is working in partnership with an Advisory Circle of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC*) to provide unrestricted funds for Black theatres, Indigenous theatres, and Theatres of Color (BITOC*) based in the U.S. (including Tribal Nations and U.S. Territories). RESPOND provides unrestricted funds to theatres to address immediate, time-sensitive challenges that prevent ongoing work with their community.
