Kyle Bell Lights Last-Minute Shows for Warrant and Firehouse with ChamSys QuickQ 20

DALLAS – Shortly before two metal bands, Warrant and Firehouse, took to the Lava Cantina-The Colony stage on June 24, LD Kyle Bell got the assignment to light their shows. Bell had two big aces up his sleeve. As a longtime fan, he was very familiar with the bands’ music, and he had his trusty ChamSys QuickQ 20 to create some quick scenes and busk his way through the rest of the songs.

USA/U.K. – USITT and Arts University Bournemouth are once again collaborating to bring you the 2021 Virtual Costume Symposium—a virtual costume study tour to introduce participants to British costume for theatre and film through the study of historical costume. This will run on Zoom from July 26 – August 6, 2021, with daily sessions at 11:00 a.m. EDT/4:00 p.m. BST. Astera AX3 “Beacons” Light Up the Border between Denmark and Germany

DENMARK and GERMANY – An illuminated trail of 105 x Astera AX3 “beacons” fitted with custom firmware was set up along a 58-kilometer stretch of the Danish / German border as part of “Genforeningen 2020,” a series of events celebrating the centenary of the reunification of Southern Jutland with the kingdom of Denmark, which took place following a referendum in 1920.
