LISBON, Portugal – The semi-finals and final competition for the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest took place at Altice Arena in Lisbon, Portugal on May 8, 10 and 12. LD and director of photography Jerry Appelt’s massive visual setup included a full range of the latest lighting fixtures from Claypaky (with 750 fixtures) and ADB (100 fixtures). With some 2,000 fixtures in all, the lighting-video balance with this year’s extravaganza made a decided shift back toward the beams.

NEW YORK – Puffs, or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic,” opened for another round of well-received off-Broadway performances at the New World Stages in Manhattan last summer.
