LONDON – Swedish-Scottish singer Nina Nesbitt followed up a series of performances in the U.S. with a tour of the U.K. LD Ollie Wilkinson used Chauvet Professional Maverick MK Pyxis fixtures supplied by Arranpaul to light the artist, who performed atop an illuminated Perspex plinth in the center of the stage. Eurovision Song Contest 2018 Includes More than 600 GLP Lighting Fixtures

LISBON, Portugal – LD Jerry Appelt, who worked with stage designer Florian Wieder on the Eurovision Song Contest 2018, included more than 600 GLP lighting fixtures for the semi-finals and finals of the massive competition, seen by the live audience within Lisbon’s Altice Arena and broadcast live to millions of TV viewers. Appelt chose KNV Arc modules along with JDC1 hybrid strobes and impression X4 L fixtures for the series of events.

Chroma-Q Brute Force

Chroma-Q says its new Brute Force was designed to serve as a new LED alternative to a quarter Wendy light. The fixture was designed in collaboration with MBSi, the Pinewood MBS Lighting innovations think-tank. Extending the Chroma-Q range of highly effective, energy efficient products, this new fixture has been rigorously tested by PMBS in a variety of ‘real world’ scenarios to ensure optimal functionality across a variety of applications. The technical teams at both companies worked closely together to create a true LED full color RGBW lamphead that draws just 15 amps at 240V.
