ElektraLite’s ML-902, which made its debut at the recent LDI 2016 show in Las Vegas, is a full-featured moving head profile spot fixture powered by a 120-watt cool white (6,500K) COB LED that promises an output equal to that of a 250-watt HMI discharge lamp. The brighter version of elektraLite’s ML-602 responds to customer feedback. It has an indexable seven-color wheel; two wheels (one fixed) each holding up to seven interchangeable gobos; a rotating three-way prism; a wide-range strobe with various features; and zoom, focus control, and fine (16-bit) pan and tilt along with digital dimming features. Elation Professional’s new Proteus line of IP-rated moving lights, featured at LDI 2016 in Las Vegas, incorporate years of R&D to help LDs bring their designs outside into the elements. The line of moving lights will include compact, robust and budget-friendly moving fixtures. Pictured here, from left, are the Proteus Beam and Proteus Hybrid fixtures. The Beam has a 14R arc lamp and the Hybrid has a 21R bulb. Both are IP 65 rated for water resistance. They are expected to start shipping in January.
