Blizzard Lighting’s SkyBox Chroma features dual-layered, separately controlled, six-in-one LEDs. The fixture has three 15W RGBAW+UV LEDs on the bottom and six 15W RGBAW+UV LEDs up top — nine 15W RGBAW+UV LEDs in all. The fixtures also come with a 2.4Ghz built-in wireless DMX receiver, long-life, Intelion lithium ion battery system with three user selectable power output modes and quiet variable-speed internal fan for cooling.

Elation Professional’s new Proteus line of IP-rated moving lights, featured at LDI 2016 in Las Vegas, incorporate years of R&D to help LDs bring their designs outside into the elements. The line of moving lights will include compact, robust and budget-friendly moving fixtures. Pictured here, from left, are the Proteus Beam and Proteus Hybrid fixtures. The Beam has a 14R arc lamp and the Hybrid has a 21R bulb. Both are IP 65 rated for water resistance. They are expected to start shipping in January.

Elation Professional’s Artiste DaVinci is a full-featured, high output and compact LED moving head spot luminaire in the company’s new Artiste series. It was launched at LDI 2016 in Las Vegas.

LAS VEGAS — High End Systems unveiled the new SolaTheatre, Hex and Quad fixtures at LDI 2016. The SolaTheatre is the first lighting instrument in the SolaRange family to feature completely fanless operation, making it well suited to the needs of studio and theatrical applications that require almost-silent performance. SolaTheatre brings the power of High End’s white light LED engine to television, film and theatre LDs worldwide. The Hex and Quad join Shapeshifter and Uno in the company’s effects lighting range.

LAS VEGAS – City Theatrical featured their SHoW DMX Multiverse (pictured here), which is designed to provide new levels of wireless DMX data transmission in a tiny package; DMXcat, a device that helps users get information on the personality and starting DMX address load of a wide range of fixtures; and other new products including their QolorPIX LED Pixel Control for pixel tape systems, QolorPoint Mini Wireless Uplighter, B-Series LED Dimmers and Lightwright 6 software for managing entertainment lighting paperwork.

Martin’s VDO Face 5 video panel is a 5mm pixel pitch video panel for outdoor and indoor applications that can be used effectively with other Martin LED video products such as the company’s VDO Sceptron. VDO Face 5 is designed to samve users time when building shows and save money due to a substantially longer lifetime than comparable products.

LAS VEGAS—Martin’s new M1 HD and M2GO HD expand the company’s M-Series line of controllers. Building on the M1, the M1 HD is designed to provide users with more power, speed, a new foldable multi-touch head display along with four additional parameters encoders. The M2GO HD extends the functionality of the M2GO with a new processing core, added built-in foldable multi-touch screen and four additional parameters encoders.

Ushio America’s Xebex brand expands with a new short and medium throw followspot, the Sai-300. This LED followspot is portable in size and designed for ease of use, making it well suited for applications including houses of worship, school, ballroom, and multipurpose venues.

Ushio America’s new HPL Super Life (SL) extends lamp life to 3,000 hours, 50 percent longer than other long life versions on the market.

Christie’s Pandoras Box 6.0 media server, featured at the 2016 LDI show in Las Vegas Oct. 21-23, has been updated to let users split the workload of a project more easily. Other new features include workflow improvements with more functionality from within the preview window, and enhancements to Widget Designer, helping users benefit from custom user interfaces.

LAS VEGAS — At LDI booth 1115, Philips Lighting will feature the new Showline SL LEDSpot 300 and Philips SL Hydrus 350 along with the new Philips Strand Lighting Softlight 150S and 300S television panels.
