PPR Lighting’s XPar 150 features an advanced 150W LED lamp, offering full RGBW color mixing. Weighing a mere 6.2kg it is easy to handle and with its IP67 rating has been designed for outdoor use, thanks to its high-intensity die-casting aluminum chassis. The XPar 150 is also supported by a host of features. These include Colour Temperature of 2700K-10000K (linear correction); Beam Angle 30°; Field Angle 60°, 0-100% linearly adjustable dimmer and 0.3-20 fps strobing. The new product is shipping now.

Blizzard Lighting’s Motif series includes the Motif Vignette, which comes with eighteen 10-watt Quad-Color LEDs. The fixture’s cast aluminum housing allows for natural convection cooling, so there are no fans needed, making the Vignette well suited for sound-sensitive applications. The fixture also comes with dual mounting brackets, an IP rated AC power input cord with cable cap, 3-pin extended IP rated DMX in/out plugs and a set of IP rated DMX in/out cables. They are available in either black or white colored housing. Each fixture also comes with a deflection shield to reduce outward view of LEDs.

GLP plans to launch its new GT-1 hybrid fixture at Prolight + Sound 2016 in Frankfurt, Germany during the show, April 5-8, at booth 4.0. G19. The fixture is designed to work as a Spot, Beam and Wash fixture. Features include a high powered 470W discharge lamp and an optical system designed to produce a beam with a 22:1 ratio zoom range, from 2.5° to 55°. In Spot mode the fixture offers a wide range of effects, including CMY color mixing, eight rotating gobos, 14 fixed pattern gobos, additional beam reduction gobos and an interchangeable animation wheel. It also features three different rotating prisms, a fixed color wheel with CTO/CTB filters and a wash effect for softening the beam. In Beam mode the GT-1 delivers a powerful parallel beam of light at 2.5° through its large 145° diameter front lens, which remains bright and consistent over long distances. As with other GLP fixtures, the GLP GT-1 Hybrid Fixture features a GLP trademark – its ‘baseless’ chassis design. The fixture also has inbuilt wireless DMX control, full 16-bit pan and tilt movement and full range dimming and shuttering capabilities. The fixture also features an in-built battery for fixture set-up, an auto-sensing power supply and a low weight of just 25kg.

elektraLite’s eyeBall IUV (ELE728) is a high-output LED fixture promising truly invisible ultraviolet light from a compact, lightweight design. At the heart of the eyeBall IUV are 18 three-watt LEDs operating at a wavelength of 365nm, completely invisible to the human eye. The fixture’s ample output is designed to produce vivid fluorescence at distances of more than 75 feet with zero visible light emitting from the fixture, which allows for extraordinary dark room and black light effects.

Mega-Lite’s Tuff Baby P-84 is an LED lighting fixture that’s weathered for outdoors and can still be used indoors. This compact IP 64 rated unit packs a punch with seven penta RGBWA 12-watt LEDs. The addition of amber and white LEDs allows for pastel hues and varied tones that cannot be achieved with RGB LEDs alone. It has a 25-degree beam angle and also comes with a removable diffuser that creates a 30-degree diffused beam angle. The Tuff Baby P-84 has 3-pin XLR DMX connectors and a weather seal screw type power connection. The fixture has a double mounting yoke for simple rigging or ground stacking. It is controlled via DMX 512, featuring 8 channels, audio trigger and master slave control options.

Mega-Lite’s Axis Cyclops moving head gets its name from its “single eye” look. Featuring a 4.5-degree lens and 60W RGBW LED, the unit has infinite pan and tilt, making it capable of eye catching motion effects. The Axis Cyclops is controlled via DMX and has 15 channels. It has an LCD display for easy addressing and single quick release clamp mounts for simple rigging.

The Truss Platform from Staging Concepts is made from steel for strength and durability along with 1” thick marine grade plywood substrate with virtually zero voids. This product is available in standard and custom sizes for both indoor and outdoor use. Meeting the same quality and strength requirements of Staging Concepts’ flagship product, the SC90 Platform, the Truss Platform meets 150 lbs per square foot of uniformly distributed live load.

RC4’s new firmware v4.071 / 2.71.3.0 for all RC4 Wireless Series 3 Harmonized Design Devices is now available, for the company’s RC4 Magic Series 3 (2.4GHz and 900MHz), L​umenDim​for CRMX and W​­DIM​for W­DMX. Referred to as v71, it supercedes previously released v19 and v50. The company also announced additional pixel string support for RC4Magic DMXpix, pictured here.

Rose Brand’s Stretcher Frame System is designed to fix the extreme hourglassing and puckering often encountered with scrims, bobbinettes, vinyl, projection screens, and muslin backdrops. Hourglassing naturally occurs when fabrics stretch vertically causing the sides to pull in, and in some cases, puckering occurs. Key features of the frame include fast and easy attachment to batten, adaptability to different sized backdrops, and sleeved bottom pipe for smooth pockets.

Scenex Lighting from GLP US Inc. launched a new range of flexible pixel control LED tape, featuring four-color RGBW LED’s, with different color temperature options available for the white LED element. With a pixel pitch of 16.7mm (60 pixels per meter), this new tape has a bright output and allows direct control over the color of each individual pixel and the ability to create unlimited effects across a length of tape with expanded color control from earlier RGB versions.

The two companies have worked in close cooperation to create a new Auto Patch feature which enables any Hog lighting console to take control of an ArKaos media server, quickly and easily, at the press of a single button.
