ADJ’s Inno Pocket Spot LZR updates the original Pocket Spot with a powerful green laser. Users now have a way to bring the dance-floor to life with two-in-one effects from one portable fixture.

Altman Lighting’s PHX 150 is a 150W LED profile spot fixture designed for long throw theatrical, architectural, house of worship and film/TV applications. Altman says its PHX 150 is the first long throw LED profile spot available to be completely convection cooled, making it well suited for acoustically sensitive applications. The PHX 150 LED profile spot is available in 3000K white, RGBA, RGBW, 5600k white and tunable white array options for maximum design flexibility. The 150W promises to serve as an energy-efficient alternative to standard 575W incandescent source fixtures seamlessly, with no bench focusing required. Phoenix LED is available in various lens options including 5°, 10°, 19°, 26°, 36° and 50° with a 19°, 26°, 36° or 50° lens barrel included at no extra charge. Also sold as standard – a C-clamp, safety cable and color frame. Zoom options of 15-35° and 30-55° are also available. Like its incandescent counterpart, the Altman PHX 150 LED profile spot features locking shutters, a fully enclosed accessory holder and a 360° rotating barrel for those difficult to achieve focus angles.

Martin’s RUSH MH 7 Hybrid, an all-in-one beam, spot and wash moving head fixture, is now available. The compact fixture promises flexibility with advanced, dynamic effects. Features include crisp optics with three zoom modes: 2.2°–15° in beam mode, 2.5°–24° in spot mode and 15°–45° in wash mode. A Philips Platinum 11R 250W 7800 K lamp promises ample output, and the fixture offers eight rotating/ indexing and 12 static gobos. There are 10 selectable colors and effects via an eight-facet circular and four-facet linear prism.

Tekvox’s TEK SC61-4K (79069) compact 6×1 switching scaler features selectable six-input source switching to an HDMI output.  The TEK SC61-4K is engineered to meet the needs of the growing 4K Pro A/V community at a competitive price.  It operates as a stand-alone unit and also can be interfaced with all TEKVOX control systems.

ADJ’s Ikon Profile gobo projector is designed to suit the needs of those who need a bright, crisp and rich gobo projector without a lot of other fixture features. Equipped with a 32W white LED source, the Ikon Profile includes easy-to-adjust framing shutters, and a textured glass gobo and compact form factor. The fixture comes with five gobo patterns including one textured glass gobo and four metal gobos. Custom metal or glass gobos may be produced to create a unique look.

MDG’s new Me8, to be featured at at Prolight + Sound 2016 in Frankfurt, is billed as the company’s highest-powered fog generator to date. Now topping the Me Series, the Me8 is an 8-nozzled machine that pumps out a  800 cubic metes of fog per minute.

elektraLite’s new DataAir Wireless DMX Data Transmission System makes use of the ELE810 DataAir Transmitter and ELE811 DataAir Receiver to bring wireless functionality to DMX distribution in a manner that promises to be fast and easy for users. elektraLite’s DataAir transmitter and receiver are each no larger than a ballpoint pen and simply plug-and-play ready.

Desay’s E Series indoor HD full color LED video screen panels, made in China, feature die-cast aluminum housing for light weight and durability. The LED modules allow for front maintenance, with high resolution pixel pitches including 1.25mm, 1.5mm, 1.875mm, 2.5mm, 3mm, 3.75mm and 4mm options. A smart fast lock design promises easy assembly, and the panels can be used in flown or stacked configurations on stage.

Flex Rental Solutions’ Flex version 4.15.1, released in mid-March, is the third major and fourth total software release by the company since the start of 2016. This newest release includes several new features, performance improvements, and bug fixes. Release 4.15.1 includes tax on costs, thresholds for inventory items, and multiple automation profile support for quotes. The company is actively developing and quality assurance testing Flex version 4.16.0, scheduled for release in April.

Rushworks’ PTX Universal PanTilt Head, to be featured at NAB 2016, adds to the number of integrated robotic lighting and video control options. PTX is designed to work with the Blackmagic Design Micro Studio Camera 4K and other standalone cameras and camcorders from Sony, Canon, Panasonic and JVC that support LANC control. In addition to pan and tilt, if the cameras support the commands, the fixture can provide control of zoom, focus, iris and record start/stop.

Blackmagic Design noted that, after a delay due to the longer-than-expected timeframe needed for the development of their global shutters, the company’s URSA Mini 4.6K and the Blackmagic Micro Cinema Camera are now shipping, without the shutter feature.

Martin’s RUSH MH 6 Wash CT is designed to serve as a true white wash light for customers in the house of worship and performing arts markets.
