Elation’s ACL 360i is a single-beam moving effect luminaire that combines the intensity of a tight ACL beam with quick-moving beam looks and continuous 360-degree pan and tilt movement. It can be used for pin-spotting or large motion effects when used in larger configurations. It is the latest and the smallest high-output luminaire in Elation’s ACL Series of narrow-beam LED effect lights. A single 60W RGBW LED combines with an advanced collimator optic lens to produce a dense and uniform 4-degree color-changing beam. Frost lens options of 10 and 45 degrees (included) can be employed to soften and spread the beam for color washing applications.

AMSTERDAM – Austrian engineering company, AV Stumpfl will feature an 8K version of Wings Engine Raw at ISE 2016. The upgraded media server now offers four streams of full 4K uncompressed content at 60hz plus media overlays, text generation and show control on top. It is designed for media-based installations requiring high-resolution content such as themed attractions, cinematic presentation, theatres, live events, or even planetariums.

The TourPro Cable Free Crystal LED series, which promises to remove the clutter of the ‘jumper cable’ video system, is designed to streamline installation and setup with integrated power and data. The panels promise precise color and graphic details from all angles along with high refresh rates for broadcast and camera friendly performance.

ANAHEIM, CA – At NAMM 2016, held at the Anaheim Convention Center Jan. 21-24, ADJ promoted both its new silver logo and a raft of new products, including the company’s Airstream DMX Bridge, Crazy Pocket 8, Inno Pocket Spot LZR, Stinger II, VMS5 and WiFLY NE1 Battery. Christie says its Q Series projectors, including the new Christie DWU1052-Q and Christie DHD1052-Q, both feature improved warping and blending for more installation freedom, performance and imagery, reinforcing the company’s leadership in the 1DLP projector realm.

Chauvet Professional’s COLORdash S-Par 1 extends the company’s COLORdash LED series with an IP65-rated RGBA wash fixture that promises a major advance in LED color blending. Its 27 red, green, blue and amber LEDs are designed to appear, not as individual pixels, but as one large homogenized light source.  This eliminates the “color separation” that typically occurs during LED mixing.

Christie reports another industry benchmark with the recently launched HS Series laser phosphor projectors. The company says it includes the world’s brightest 1DLP laser phosphor projector. Featuring “BoldColor Technology” for richer, more vivid colors, and a 3X color wheel speed, the Christie D12HD-HS and Christie D12WU-HS respectively deliver HD and WUXGA resolution in a compact chassis that is the quietest 10,000+ lumens laser phosphor projector on the market.

ADJ’s XS Series includes compact single- and dual-axis moving heads equipped with 10W LEDs that serve up a sharp 5-degree beam angle. All are capable of 360-degree continuous rotation. The XS 600 offers continuous rotation of head and yoke. The XS 400 and XS 200 allow for continuous rotation, or spinning, of the head only.

MIDDLETON, WI – In PLSN‘s profile of 2015 Parnelli Visionary Award honoree David Cunningham (Sept. 2015, page 48), Cunningham alluded to a new LED project. “It won’t be a Source Four, but it will be interesting,” he promised. “This is one last project which has been the focus of the last two years and should come out soon.” PLSN then contacted ETC to confirm that its latest product, the ETC Source 4WRD, was the product Cunningham was working on.
