ETC’s new Unison Echo lighting control system offers architectural-lighting solutions for installations of any size and budget including classrooms, office buildings, and retail outlets. The system features Echo Responsive Controls, which include light sensors that perform daylight harvesting to harness natural light and adjust lighting levels accordingly, and occupancy/vacancy sensors that ensure a space is lit only when it’s in use.

The result: The technology for unlimited movements as well as the devices themselves left no margin of doubt. The editors tested an EYE-7, a PLB-130 and a DMH-75 with Infinity technology.

Roland Systems Group has launched the Roland XS Series – the new line of Multi-Format Matrix Switchers designed for fixed installations requiring high-quality integrated video and audio conversion and switching. The series is adaptable supporting eight HDMI, RGB/Component/S-video/Composite inputs and up to four HDMI or HDBaseT outputs with scalers to support picture-in-picture, resizing, rotating, and flipping.

Offering a brightness level of 35,000 center lumens, the HDQ-4K35 is capable of showing native 4K content at 60 Hz frame rates. Laserworld developed a new product line, the Diode Series, to fill the gap between their entry-level and their more professional laser light systems. The very compact housing, built according to the Sealed Housing Technology, is equipped with a diode-only solution, which means great beam specifications at smooth color fading behavior. Elation Professional’s Pixel Bar 40 is a one-meter-long pixel-controllable LED strip light that uses 3-in-1 SMD RGB LEDs for color mixing. The fixture is bright (850 Nits) and 0-100% dimmable, and its 40 RGB LEDs are spaced at a 25mm pixel pitch. Each bar has a 120° viewing angle. The fixture is made with extruded aluminum and comes with RJ45 Cat5e ports for easy installation and an adjustable mounting bracket for precise optical aiming.
