ATLANTA — NanoLumens recently announced its Studio Pro Series LED displays for broadcast studio applications. The company says the large-format displays address challenges traditionally associated with LED broadcast display systems and promise to revolutionize the way studios design their sets.

Litepanels’ Hilio/HC Field Lighting Package pairs daylight balanced Hilio fixtures with a portable DC power system from Anton/Bauer. Designed with portability and high output field lighting in mind, the field lighting solution is being offered with special pricing when purchased through authorized dealers.

Viss Lighting’s FX3 LED screens, with a 3.9mm pixel pitch, pack a 128×128 pixel matrix within each 500mm by 500mm panel. The panels, with a thickness of 70mm, weigh 5.9kg each and draw a maximum of 300W. Offering viewing angles of 140°/110°, the panels have a fanless design, are noise-free and can be individually replaced. Setup and tear-down is tool-free, and with a plus or minus 15° angle of rotation, the flat panels can be assembled in a curved configuration. The IP54-rated panels offer 16 bit gray scale, a 2000:1 contrast ratio and a refresh rate of 800-5000Hz. Their work voltage is AC100-240V/50-60Hz, and they can be operated in temperatures ranging from -20°/+50° C (-4°/122° F).

ArKaos has introduced the GrandVJ 2, the latest version of its ArKaos GrandVJ software for VJs, DJs, clubs and musicians.

Elation’s DW Profile 250 is an LED profile fixture that uses a white 250W LED engine with a 17°- 30° manual zoom (with optional 30°- 50° zoom available). It is capable of generating variable color temperatures from 3,000°K – 6,500°K, up to 10,000 Lumens, and promises flicker-free operation for video/broadcast applications. At a 17° zoom 4,600°K full on it produces 2,333 lx at 7.5M (217 fc at 24.6ft), and at a 30° zoom 4,600°K full on it produces 1,027 lx at 7.5M (95 fc at 24.64ft). It includes a manual and DMX controllable dimmer and strobe, 5-pin DMX In/Out, powerCON In, a multi-voltage power supply (100V-240V/ 50-60 Hz), and draws only 300 watts of power maximum.

Shenzhen, China-based Viss Lighting’s Softi LED display screen can be curved, rolled up and hung. It can also be ordered in custom sizes. Offering up to 80 percent transparency, Softi’s module design speeds installation. Eight modules will fit in one flight case.

Christie’s MicroTiles S310 screen features 0.7mm seams for a near-seamless look. It also matches the MicroTiles S300’s optical performance and construction. The S300’s seam, by comparison, is 1.3mm.

ADJ’s FS600LED followspot is designed for worship services, stage performances and live video streaming. Featuring an 18°-26° beam angle, the 60W unit offers eight colors (including warm white and UV); variable strobe speed and dimming capabilities; adjustable iris; manual focus; and shutters for manual framing. Designed for cool running, the FS600LED consumes only 80W of power at maximum use and includes 3- and 5–pin DMX, a gel frame holder and hanging bracket.
