Green-GO is a new communications system that plugs into an existing PoE Ethernet network. As such, it promises to serve as an alternative to intercom and cueing systems that rely on separate networks of discrete wiring or dedicated data networks and proprietary protocols, sometimes with complex and expensive central management equipment. For digital voice communication, users connect the outstations they need. Once set up, all group data is stored locally so there is no need for an expensive central matrix. For optional stage management cue lights and text messages, users can add a Green-GO multi-channel desk and laptop.

The new PowerHOUSE Break Out Boxes provide connection points for entertainment lighting fixtures, including LED lights, with multiple versions that feature various types of receptacles. All of the new boxes are fed from industry standard six-circuit lighting cables. Lightweight, compact, and stackable, the PowerHOUSE Break Out Boxes weigh less than 8 lbs. and are designed for durabiity and portability. The Break Out Box is available in a basic and a mountable model, which allows it to be attached to trusses or poles with a C-clamp.

The FR stands for Flame Retardancy. Rosco Barrier FR is a zero-VOC, water based, vinyl-acrylic, intumescent paint that provides a Class A fire retardant rating when applied to common materials used in scenery, props and staging. It meets the stringent requirements of commercial building codes and is suitable for use on scenic elements installed downstage of the fire-curtain, on touring shows/exhibitions, in museums or other public spaces.

DALLAS – Philips Vari-Lite introduces the new VL3015, VL3015LT, and VL3515 Spot luminaires with the increased output of a 1500W lamp. The VL3015 and VL3515 feature a 6:1 zoom optics system, while the VL3015LT offers a 10:1 zoom. All include CYM color mixing, variable CTO color temperature correction, gobo/effects wheels and strobe. Custom gobos, effects and colors are also available.

SUNNYVALE, CA – New OSRAM Ostar Stage LEDs have a flatter profile, a narrow beam angle and higher luminance than before. They are now only 1.23 mm high – one-quarter of the usual height – enabling a much more compact spotlight design. The glass cover on the new LEDs has been optimized for injection of the light into lens systems. The LEDs can be used in spotlights of any size, from small stage spotlights to large moving head luminaires.

VAN NUYS, CA – Litepanels’ Inca 6 and Inca 4 mirror the capabilities of their daylight counterparts in the Sola Series of Fresnels, but will output tungsten-balance light that can be integrated with light from legacy tungsten fixtures.

LOS ANGELES – Elation Professional’s new Platinum Wash ZFX Pro RGBW moving head wash features a Quad color OSRAM LED chipset and HO (high output) optical lens design. “ZFX” stands for Zoom and Effects features, which are new to the Platinum Wash series. The “FX” refers to Chase/Zone effects, which are rings of LED array controllable zones, adding visual eye candy. This is one of the first Elation products with special control features including RDM (Remote Device Management) functions.
