VAN NUYS, CA – Litepanels’ Hilio high intensity LED lighting fixtures are now shipping. Daylight color balanced Hilio is a small-footprint LED fixture capable of emitting 5600°K illumination over a 20 ft. to 25 ft. (6.1 – 7.6m) distance without requiring a ballast. The new high output Hilio draws just 115W (while providing comparable illumination to a 575W HMI) and offers a bulb life of 50,000 hours while operating from 100-240VAC 50/60 Hz, or 24VDC battery.

Global Special Effects says its CO2 Cryo-Jets can make any dance floor go from 90 degrees to 30 degrees in 6 seconds. They  create plumes of cryo-fog up to 30 feet in the air and can be hung from a truss or mounted from a wall or the floor.  There’s no need to worry about any smoke alarms, as CO2 leaves the room clean with no residue.  The unit comes with a 30-foot hose to connect to a CO2 tank. The cost is $1,500 plus shipping.  The Cryo-Jet is also available in stainless steel for an additional $250.

Holo-Walls, LLC has added LED Liquid Tabletops to its Liquid Fusion line of products. The tabletops, for sale or rental, use an interactive, LED illuminated liquid-encased tile that operates on a rechargeable battery or direct power. The standard size is 80cm in diameter (31.5 inches), and custom fabrication is also available.

LOS ANGELES  – American DJ’s Micro Wash WWCW is a mini white LED par can that produces a variety of white washes, from warm tungsten to cool white. Under seven inches long, the fixture can be taken to the smallest places and tightest spaces. American DJ is marketing it to corporate events, retail displays, performance stages, mobile entertainers, small clubs and more.

SUNRISE, FL – Ilumipod 7 IP is an indoor/outdoor compact LED wash light featuring seven one-watt RGBW LEDs and an 18-degree lens. A variant of Ilumipod 7 IP features SpectraWhite Technology, which uses calibrated warm white and cool white LEDs to deliver precise and adjustable color temperature ranging from 2800K to 7000K, with four warm white and three cool white LEDs. At 8 inches high and 3 inches wide, the fixture easily fits into landscapes or as cove and contour downlighting.

GLP introduces the impression Wash One, which offers a fresnel based optical system with a full feature set of beam control options. The fixture uses the same 400W RGB LED light engine as the impression Spot One, introduced last year.  A wide color spectrum, 6-60-degree zoom as well as a narrow 3-degree beam, offer flexibility for lighting professionals.

FT. WAYNE, Indiana – Apollo has added the new fixtures to its Multispot series: the Multiform HP3-90 and HP5-70 fixtures. The HP3-90 offers three-color LEDs and can be programmed using RGB or HSL control. The Multiform MP5-70 is a five-color LED fixture. Both offer an LED display.

BRUSSELS, Belgium – ArKaos’ new protocol, Kling-Net, is a protocol designed specifically to allow the distribution of real-time video data to remote display devices, such as LEDs or LED panels, over Ethernet. ArKaos has designed the protocol to simplify the process of using LEDs, especially for new and first-time users.

American DJ’s Mega TRIPAR Profile has a “sit-flat” design similar to the company’s Mega Par Profile, but the TRIPAR Profile been upgraded with Tri-Color LEDs for RGB color blending. Powered by five 3W 3-in-1 Tri LEDs (red, green and blue), the Mega TRIPAR Profile promises ultra-bright colors that are more smoothly blended than those created by par cans with single-color LEDs. Its Tri-Color LED technology also promises to eliminate the RGB shadows often associated with single-color LED lamps.

The Iluminarc Ilumiline 36 IP linear LED architectural wash light has IP 67 rating and features 36 one-watt RGB LEDs with three lens options: 15, 30 or 60-by-10 degrees. The fixture measures 3.2 feet long by 2.7 inches wide by 4 inches deep and is well-suited for use within tight spaces or to highlighting artwork and wall hangings, mantels or textured walls.

LightConverse 3D Show Platform Version 52 offers integration with VectorWorks 2011/12 (PC and Mac), letting designers export from VectorWorks to LightConverse for a photo-realistic look at how visual elements including lighting, video (in and out), 3D Mapping, laser, pyro, water effects and moving objects will look.

The Jack from Italy-based DTS Lighting is designed to serve as a high-power, compact, lightweight and versatile moving head that works as three fixtures in one — 35°-46° wash, 4°-34° spot and 1°-4° beam. Features include Philips’ MSD Platinum 5R 189W discharge lamp [outputting 35,000 Lux at 5 m (4°)], a wide excursion motorized zoom, fast and silent pan/tilt [pan: 540° (2.5 seconds); tilt: 270° (1.5 seconds)] and other functions including color changing, gobo changing and adjustable focus, zoom and iris.
