FT. WAYNE, Indiana – Apollo has added the new fixtures to its Multispot series: the Multiform HP3-90 and HP5-70 fixtures. The HP3-90 offers three-color LEDs and can be programmed using RGB or HSL control. The Multiform MP5-70 is a five-color LED fixture. Both offer an LED display.

BRUSSELS, Belgium – ArKaos’ new protocol, Kling-Net, is a protocol designed specifically to allow the distribution of real-time video data to remote display devices, such as LEDs or LED panels, over Ethernet. ArKaos has designed the protocol to simplify the process of using LEDs, especially for new and first-time users.

American DJ’s Mega TRIPAR Profile has a “sit-flat” design similar to the company’s Mega Par Profile, but the TRIPAR Profile been upgraded with Tri-Color LEDs for RGB color blending. Powered by five 3W 3-in-1 Tri LEDs (red, green and blue), the Mega TRIPAR Profile promises ultra-bright colors that are more smoothly blended than those created by par cans with single-color LEDs. Its Tri-Color LED technology also promises to eliminate the RGB shadows often associated with single-color LED lamps.

The Iluminarc Ilumiline 36 IP linear LED architectural wash light has IP 67 rating and features 36 one-watt RGB LEDs with three lens options: 15, 30 or 60-by-10 degrees. The fixture measures 3.2 feet long by 2.7 inches wide by 4 inches deep and is well-suited for use within tight spaces or to highlighting artwork and wall hangings, mantels or textured walls.

LightConverse 3D Show Platform Version 52 offers integration with VectorWorks 2011/12 (PC and Mac), letting designers export from VectorWorks to LightConverse for a photo-realistic look at how visual elements including lighting, video (in and out), 3D Mapping, laser, pyro, water effects and moving objects will look.

The Jack from Italy-based DTS Lighting is designed to serve as a high-power, compact, lightweight and versatile moving head that works as three fixtures in one — 35°-46° wash, 4°-34° spot and 1°-4° beam. Features include Philips’ MSD Platinum 5R 189W discharge lamp [outputting 35,000 Lux at 5 m (4°)], a wide excursion motorized zoom, fast and silent pan/tilt [pan: 540° (2.5 seconds); tilt: 270° (1.5 seconds)] and other functions including color changing, gobo changing and adjustable focus, zoom and iris.

MA Lighting’s MA onPC command wing serves as a hardware expansion for designers looking for 2,048 parameter mobile access to the grandMA2 control system via onPC software. The MA onPC command wing incorporates the command section of the grandMA2 consoles and makes it easier to use the free-of-charge grandMA2 onPC software.

Enttec Pty Ltd’s D-PRO software-based lighting controller, created through a collaboration between Enttec and db Audioware on DMXIS (D-PRO is actually DMXIS-PRO for short), effectively turns computers into lighting consoles, in command-line mode or with a touch screen. Using an app like iDisplay, D-PRO’s Show Control window can run on an iPad. A version of D-PRO is now available for the Datagate MK2 — Enttec’s Ethernet-DMX networking tool. Along with support for a wide range of cues, palettes and groups, D-PRO offers a multi-layered cuelist playback engine, scripting and effects and other new features. D-PRO works natively in both Mac and Windows environments. The introductory price is $299 for eight universes of DMX output.
