ArKaos’ GrandVJ 1.5 lets VJs compose up to eight layers of video on the fly and includes two major new features: Transitions and ArKaos Connect VST. The 37 new transitions are distributed across the following groups: eight Fades, three Blinds, six Masks, four Distortions, three 3Ds, two Pixelizations, seven Rectangles, one Slide, one Swipe and two Waves.

The Wing LED Wall Washer from Philips Selecon evenly lights walls more than 3 meters in height without risking damage to exhibited items with UV or infrared radiation. There are two modules. The first is a “warm white” (50,000hrs, 69lm/watt) fixture, dimmable via local touch switch (cycle up/down) control or via Dali control, for a high quality white light. The second is a RGB/Tuneable White (35,000hrs, 29lm/watt) controlled via DMX (RDM address). It lets users fine-tune the color temperature and intensity, and users can match it to ambient light levels, warming as night falls, or switched to transform a space with vibrant color for special events.

The MultiWall Gll – HP5 light batten is designed for indoor or outdoor use with an IP20/65 rating. It incorporates 62 1W RGBA&W LEDs and is fitted with XLR and PowerCon connectors, a conversion kit is supplied to replace these with PG9 fittings for outdoor use.

The Christie Mirage WU-L uses a solid-state LED light engine, offering high resolution and rich pixel density as well as continuous system calibration in a small footprint unit capable of advanced 2D-3D visualizations. The 1-chip DLP with RGB LED is the first Mirage Series projector to use solid-state LED illumination, which features an estimated 60,000-hour life cycle (approximately 6.5 years). Times Square Lighting’s 1900 Series lighting fixtures is the next series of fixtures from the company to use Helieon LED light modules. These LEDs feature a separated socket and module, helping users change beam spreads easily and rapidly without the use of tools. A simple turn-and-click can change a luminaire from 24, 32 or 50 degrees. Beam angle, color temperature and light output can also be easily changed or upgraded without the need to remove the luminaire. The 1900 Series is designed to deliver clean white light without pixelation, and the Helieon module is projected to deliver, on average, more than 70% lumen maintenance after 50,000 hours of operation.

The Enlighten Splitter from Mega-Lite is an Enlighten interface and four-output splitter all-in-one. The Enlighten DMX to USB interface is built right in. The unit has two inputs for when it is not being used with the Enlighten software. Each output and input has a 3-pin and 5-pin XLR connectors. Electronic isolation is used between input and output, and output and output. Its dimensions are 19” W x 6” L x 1.75” H. It has removable rack ears for rack mounting front or back and is also wall mountable.
