The Christie TVC-500 video wall controller is designed to work with multiple applications, videos, computer and networked inputs. It has a 2.4 GHz Intel Xeon Quad Core processor with 2GB of RAM, high speed PCI-Express architecture and redundant hard drives.

Based upon the technologies inside two of their fixtures, Philips Vari-Lite has announced the new VLX3 LED Wash, VL400 Spot, VL440 Spot, VL770 Spot and the VL880 Spot luminaires. Based on the VLX Wash luminaire technology, the VLX3 Wash uses three LED engines to offer colors, intensity and a multi-year source life. The three, replaceable 120-watt RGBW LED chipsets provide output that offers three times the efficacy of comparable tungsten sources.  The the total system provides approximately 6,000 lumens of white light output, and 10,000 lamp hours.

Pulsar's ChromaStrip 25 TriColour provides slim-line linear strips of LED illumination using TriColour LED devices. ChromaStrip 25 is designed for concealed lighting and to highlight features such as windows, sets, trusses or building structure outlines. With a diameter of only 25mm, ChromaStrip 25 is designed to be compact, and an IP66 rating allows for exterior use (and also makes the units easy to clean when used internally.) ChromaStrip 25 are made with UV protected polycarbonate tubes.

Cooper Controls' ZeroWire CRMX wireless DMX/RDM system is based on the first automated and adaptive wireless technology specifically developed for the lighting industry. CRMX wireless transmissions optimise the use of available frequencies providing the reliable wireless DMX solution.

Robert Juliat’s Aledin 330 LED Wash, which debuted at Prolight & Sound 2011, will also be featured at PLASA 2011 along with the Aledin 630 LED profile. The Aledin 330 LED Wash is a variable beam angle (20° – 98°) 85W LED washlight that uses the same technology and light source as the Aledin 630 LED Profile spot. The Aledin 330 Wash offers a choice of two color temperatures (3500K or 5800K).

Scenex Lighting's LED Base 4 is designed to internally light truss pieces. Each low-profile fixture is designed to fit squarely inside standard 12-inch truss and produce a bright, even beam, with 12 3W tri-color RGB LEDs producing a range of colors from pastels to saturated hues.

Visual Productions CueCore is a stand-alone lighting installation control solution with a solid-state design for reliability, low-maintenance and energy efficiency. Operating and programming is done via an Internet interface. Connected to a browser, the CueCore functions as a 1024-channel lighting controller, complete with an industry-standard command-line interface.

Chauvet's Wireless Event LED Luminaire (WELL) is designed for event uplighting. The unit powered by a 12-volt battery and runs wire-free for up to 12 hours. Also available is a six-slot road case which doubles as a gang charger for all the units. Users can place six WELL fixtures into its case, plug directly into the wall and charge all the units at one time.

Lightware U.S.A., the US distributor for Budapest-based Lightware Visual Engineering, has announced the availability of new CPU2 card ugrades for Lightware's modular matrix family (16×16, 32×32, 64×64 and 80×80).

Prism Projection's RevEAL Profile joins the company's energy-efficient RevEAL Color Wash (RevEAL CW) and RevEAL Studio fixtures. It is a high-CRI, LED Profile Spot with 16,000-lumen output, a variable CCT range (2800k-6500k), adjustable focus from hard to soft edge, changeable lenses for beam angles from 14º to 70º, and a flat field. It also offers four shutters on a tri-plane; an M-size GOBO; DMX, ArtNet and local control; and universal AC input (90-260 VAC).

GLP's Impression Spot One is designed to provide an even beam for color mixing and achieve a focusable area for gobo projections. It uses an RGB LED engine with 8- or 16-bit control over each color, allowing for delicate color changes or instantaneous color bumps.
