Time Square Lighting has launched two new theatrical-style LED fixtures to the market, the BD202 and the BD203. Both fixtures produce the equivalent output of a cenventional 75-watt halogen MR16 fixture while using just 21 watts of power a piece.

Main Light Industries' LED-powered LightStar fiber optic illuminator, part of DiCon Lighting's FiberLamp product line, offers a broad spectrum of RGBW LED colors with output comparable to a 150-watt metal halide powered illuminator while weighing less and drawing less power. The unit requires only 2 amps, generates less heat, and uses a quieter fan than non-LED alternatives. The fiber port has a 30mm aperture, which can handle 900 points of fiber, enough to light one circuit of a 20'x30' Main Light LightScape fiber optic drapery.

Lex Products, makers of the Slim Dimmer, a compact, rugged 1,800W dimmer, is introducing the Slim Dimmer Plus. The Slim Dimmer has local control; the Slim Dimmer Plus has both local and DMX control.

Elation Professional's Platinum Spot 5R Pro is an upgraded version of the Platinum Spot 5R DMX moving head. Both fixtures use Philips MSD Platinum 5R lamp technology to produce brightness comparable to a 575-watt fixture with only half the energy draw and a lengthy 2,000-hour lamp life. But the equally-compact-and-bright Platinum Spot 5R DMX adds an expanded array of professional features and effects, making it well-suited for theaters, stage shows, concerts, productions, churches, nightclubs and other entertainment venues.

Elation Professional's EPV762 MH is a high-resolution 7.62mm pitch moving head video panel that can rotate just like a moving yoke light fixture, panning a full 540° and tilting up to 265°.

The new Stagebar 2 LED luminaire from Martin Professional has twice the lumen output and 10 times the intensity of the Stagebar 54. It also has a new lens design for a narrower, more concentrated field of light for better beam control and greater light intensity for improved floodlighting capability. A choice of lens options, which includes an opalescent diffuser lens for scenic on-camera looks, provides designers with beam angle flexibility.

LSC Lighting Systems' Redback Wallmount range, which previewed at trade shows last fall, is now available. Features include optional relay channels, RDM, various output connector configurations, external wallplate control and a slim profile.
