The Evo variable speed chain hoist controller from Kinesys is designed to comply with the BGV C1 life-safety standard and offers zero-speed performance for ultra-slow movement cues and instantaneous starts.  An integrated loadcell provides precise load information while dual encoders offer accurate and secure positioning.  A metal enclosure houses the controller, with truss and rack mounting options.

Christie MicroTiles are modular digital display tiles that can be stacked and clustered like building blocks to create display walls of various shapes and sizes. Christie cites color and image reproduction, wide viewing angles, and a near-absence of seams on display walls as advantages, with only a 1mm gap between the tiles.

American DJ’s new ProPAR 56RGB is an RGB color-mixing LED fixture and the ProPAR 56CWWW is a warm/cool white LED fixture. Each features 36 1-watt LEDs: the ProPAR 56RGB has 12 red, 12 green and 12 blue LEDs and the ProPAR 56CWWW has 18 warm white (3000K) and 18 cool white (6,000K) LEDs.

SpotTrack is a new tool for making and managing followspot cue sheets from the people behind FocusTrack. It can manage shows with one to four spots and reduces the amount of typing required. It provides more information than spot cues including spot setup (type, color load, operator), details of characters in the show (name, cast name, understudy name), pictures of characters and cue lists, which can be imported from FocusTrack which can, in turn, import data from ETC Eos/Ion, MA grandMA and Strand 500-series consoles.

The Cyberlight 2.0 from Barco/High End Systems offers increased output over the original Cyberlight, RDM and DMX control and addressing, updated software capabilities and new Lithopatterns and effects. It features a 2,000-watt short arc lamp and an electronic ballast.

Software version v6 for Congo and Congo jr consoles is now available from ETC. New features include Image Effects, improved Jam Mode, more masters, improved playback and more. Image Effects use the Effect Playback from v5 to associate a layout of channels (creating a graphical or positional relationship) with a source image or text.

Philips Color Kinetics has announced two new floodlights with more than 8,500 lumens. The new eW Reach Powercore and iW Reach Powercore floodlights can accentuate building exteriors and landmarks with a choice of white or fixed color light, while reducing energy consumption and maintenance.

Zero 88 has releases version 5.3.0 software for ZerOS consoles.  Version 5.3.0 can be installed on Zero 88 Leap Frog 48, Leap Frog 96, Frog 2 and ORB consoles and adds a number of new features and bug fixes.  Key features introduced in version 5.3.0 include a Non Tracking mode for cue stacks, support for multi-part cues and the ability to store user-defined views directly onto UDKs on ORB.
