Musicbed Licensing Platform Creates Live Recording Sessions with Blackmagic Design

2016 Ryder Cup to Feature Record Number of LED Screens

HAZELTINE, MN – This week’s Ryder Cup at Hazeltine National Golf Club outside the Twin Cities will feature more LED video screens than have ever been placed at a PGA Tour event. The PGA of America hired Texas-based GoVision to provide and install 15 large LED screens throughout the golf course, Media Center and International Pavilion. The typical PGA Tour event uses two to four LED screens.

LUMA Projection Arts Festival Draws Crowd to Binghamton, NY with Video from Christie Projectors

BINGHAMTON, NY – Nine Christie Roadster HD20K-J 3DLP projectors showcased local artists and their creations – including the area’s own Johnny Hart, creator of the BC comic strip –  onto five historic buildings at the annual LUMA Projection Arts Festival earlier this month. The brainchild of Tice Lerner, Nick Rubenstein and Joshua Bernard Ludzki, the event, now in its second year, featured animation by noted motion design firm Favorite Color, and included work from other animators including the winner of a juried competition. New City Video & Staging handled the installation.

Image Production Services Uses Chauvet Video Panels for Vessel Reveal Event

NEW YORK – Talk about an enthusiastic reception. “This Monument Could Be Manhattan’s Answer to the Eiffel Tower,” screamed a headline in the online edition of Fortune Magazine on September 14, when the design of a towering abstract structure called “Vessel” was reveled at a ceremony in New York’s Hudson Yards.  Providing the gathered crowd with a better view of the proceedings and adding visual impact to special exhibitions at the reveal event were two large LED video walls created by Image Production Services, using CHAUVET Professional PVP and MVP tiles.
