Christie Projection Mapping Technology Animates Chihuly Sculptures for Barneys New York Holiday Window Display

NEW YORK – Christie once again partnered with Barneys New York to create a the holiday window displays on Madison Avenue in midtown Manhattan. Christie’s digital lighting effects were mapped to a Dale Chihuly glass sculpture entitled “Winter Brilliance” and the choreographed projection of light creates the illusion of ice, snow, and moonlight, adding a fluid and kinetic quality to the sculpture.

GoVision Unveils North America’s Largest Mobile Video Display Trailer

EDMONTON, Alberta, Canada – Apparently things aren’t only bigger in Texas. Some things are bigger in Edmonton, too. Recently, the FC Edmonton soccer club unveiled the largest mobile video display trailer in North America, dubbed TITAN. Mounted on a 53-foot trailer, the state-of-the-art LED screen, supplied by Daktronics (NASDAQ: DAKT), measures 39 feet wide by 22 feet high.

TULSA, OK – Asbury United Methodist Church in Tulsa has chosen an ArKaos PRO Stadium Server running ArKaos MediaMaster 4.0 software to handle the environmental projection mapping at their church. Lighting director Tim Ottley uses it to present some stunning visual backdrops across their 300ft wide/30-60ft tall walls to enhance both modern and traditional services.

LONDON – Lloyds Bank has commissioned AOL, Kinetic and Projection Artworks to create an interactive projection spectacular as a live experience extension to its seasonal TV and online campaign, Love You to the Stars and Back. The projections on a 12-meter-high Christmas tree-like pyramid includes personalized messages with content including submissions from the general public.

NASHVILLE – World Outreach Church’s “Give Thanks” event at the Bridgestone Arena featured inspirational speakers and performances by Martina McBride and percussionists Stikyard. Production designer Scott Moore from Go Live Productions worked with Elite Multimedia on the video design for the event, which included 140 FLEXCurve 8mm LED video tiles from PixelFLEX.
