Hernando County Upgrades Studio, Remote Shoots with Broadcast Pix

BILLERICA, Ma – In 1998, Hernando County Government Broadcasting was established in Brooksville, Fla., with two VHS recorders and one camera on the wall of the Boards Meeting Room in the government center. Led since its inception by Rick Foti, video production manager, the quality of its productions has improved significantly over the years. Kabuki Show at Bellagio Fountains Reels In the Crowds with Large Format Projection

LAS VEGAS — Especially for those who arrived early enough for a good vantage point, a series of Japanese Kabuki performances, staged Aug. 14, 15 and 15 at the Bellagio Hotel’s fountains, backed live action scenes with the spectacle of large-format video projections sweeping across the breadth of the curtain of mist formed by the fountains themselves. Panasonic projectors were used for the unique spectacle.

Salta recently shifted to Green Hippo Hippotizer Amba, a 1RU media server that can store, warp, blend and map content in higher-than-HD resolution from multiple outputs, because it can be integrated into the lighting control system so the effects can be triggered with cues.

To create a spectacular opening for the 2015 Edinburgh International Festival, and to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Edinburgh Festival Chorus, 59 Productions, with the Edinburgh International Festival, created The Harmonium Project. 59 Productions sought out XL Video for an assist with the projection mapped visuals that transformed the look of the Usher Hall in central Edinburgh.
