CHARLOTTE, NC – The NASCAR Hall of Fame is using Electrosonic-provided AV gear for the Belk High Octane Theater and more than 100 exhibits, along with video displays and sound systems inside and outside the building.

LIVERPOOL – Adlib is providing a lighting and AV package for the current John Barrowman U.K. tour, with Steve Rayment tour managing the operation and Paul Crockford as tour director. It's Adlib's third tour with Barrowman and a full Adlib crew.

BIRMINGHAM and GLASGOW, U.K. – XL Events supplied LED Screens and camera systems to Pope Benedict XVI's recent state visit to England and Scotland, including video support at three of the four major sites where the Pope made formal appearances.

ARLINGTON, TX – After a year of planning, GoVision provided a 60-foot Daktronics LED video display for the XLV Countdown Live from Cowboys Stadium last month, which kicked up the momentum of the North Texas Super Bowl Host Committee's ongoing promotional efforts for the big game in 2011. The display gave 37,000 attendees a closer look at the more than 200 performers during the event.

NEW YORK – WorldStage, Inc. companies Video Applications Inc. (VAI) and Scharff Weisberg supported the launch for Oracle's Enterprise Manager 11g at the Guggenheim Museum, enhancing the visuals at the unique architectural setting.

SURREY, U.K. – XL Video UK supplied video equipment and crew for the Help for Heroes event in Twickenham Stadium, including LED for a scenic H-shaped feature that set the visual scene, along with a full I-Mag/camera/HD PPU package.

NEW YORK – The broadcast and cable networks' "upfront season" targets advertisers and their agencies with new fall programming lineups. Scharff Weisberg and Video Applications (VAI), companies affiliated via WorldStage, played a key role with upfront events for CBS, Turner, Univision, Oxygen, Cartoon Network, CNN and Discovery Channel.

FRANKFURT, Germany and ORLANDO, FL – Sapphire Now, a yearly global business event presented by SAP, was held simultaneously in Frankfurt, Germany and Orlando, Fla. The events highlighting SAP's business solutions were linked in real-time online and streamed between venues. Production Resource Group (PRG) supplied the lighting systems for both venues.

BOGATA – Colombia's 200th anniversary celebration at Plaza de Bolivar was hard to miss, with Sonic Design coordinating projections adding up to 390,000 lumens onto Colombia's National Capitol, Justice Palace and surrounding buildings with audio from Adamson gear emanating from alternating sides of the plaza.

EDINBURGH, Scotland – The Projection Studio, Ross Ashton's London-based large format projection company, produced large-format projections on the walls of Edinburgh Castle for the 2010 Edinburgh Royal Military Tattoo.

FORT A.P. HILL, VA – It's not every day that the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) can celebrate their 100th anniversary National Scout Jamboree. The event, held July 26-Aug. 4, with the main anniversary celebration held on July 31, drew more than 72,000, with production support from Alford Media, Annapolis Mobile Power, Clair Brothers, Christie Lites, CorporateMagic, Daktronics, EventsBum, Event Tech, GoVision and others.
