This year, BC Video Services had the opportunity to support them in designing and executing the highly anticipated 2023 party. The Sydney Opera House is celebrating its 50th birthday this year and the festivities included projecting the film, From the Sails: Light Years, onto the Opera House’s iconic sails. Light Years was created with principal artist Sam Doust of experiential design and technology company Art Processors, and features contributing work by artists Jake Duczynski and Jason Poley. The film celebrates of one of Australia’s most beloved buildings through a stunning light projection and live-sync soundscape designed and composed by Andrew Stevenson, Hylton Mowday, and Josh Paton.
