Direct connection of Q-SYS™ devices via QRC: with PC-based control
The open control technology from Beckhoff creates new opportunities in AV system integration. Through support for the QRC protocol, Q-SYS™ devices can be remotely controlled directly from the Beckhoff PLC. Conversely, Q-SYS™ devices can send information to the Beckhoff TwinCAT system.
Smart engineering directly in the cloud: TwinCAT Cloud Engineering
With TwinCAT Cloud Engineering, Beckhoff is for the first time enabling the instantiation and use of existing TwinCAT engineering and runtime products directly in the cloud. Access is provided via the Beckhoff website, which means that no additional software components are required apart from a web browser. AV and media technology users benefit from all advantages of the TwinCAT software architecture, secure connection to the existing hardware, simplified collaboration and diverse user models.
Performance boost: Industrial PCs with new processor generations
At ISE, Beckhoff is presenting several Industrial PC (IPC) series that are equipped with three new Intel® processor generations. The new CPUs are available for Embedded PCs, control cabinet and Panel PCs as well as the ultra-compact IPC and 19-inch slide-in PC series. Moreover, the introduction of the fanless, ultra-compact C6025 IPC with Intel® Core™ i U computing power further expands the variety of the Beckhoff IPC performance range.
TwinCAT Analytics: One-Click Dashboard
TwinCAT Analytics’ automated functionality for converting analysis configurations into executable PLC code now also includes dashboard generation. With One-Click Dashboard, all it takes for users is a simple mouse click to generate an entire HTML5-based analytics dashboard based on the PLC code and load it into a selected Analytics Runtime container. This enables substantial time savings in engineering processes. Individual user specifications can be taken into account during automatic dashboard generation. If required, the corresponding TwinCAT 3 HMI project can also be freely modified after generation.
Media and control technology: combined on a single platform
The PC-based control solutions from Beckhoff enable you to run any application for building and media technology on a centralized control platform: from audio and video control through integrated building automation and digital signage to operating and monitoring.
