78th Annual Tony Awards Design Nominees Announced

The 78th Annual Tony Awards will return to the legendary Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Sunday, June 8, 2025. Nominations in 26 competitive categories for the American Theatre Wing’s 78th Annual Antoinette Perry Tony Awards® have now been announced. The nominees were selected by an independent committee of 54 theatre professionals appointed by the Tony Awards Administration Committee. The 2025 Tony Awards are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing and the ceremony will be hosted by Tony, Emmy, and GRAMMY Award-winner and three-time Oscar nominee Cynthia Erivo.

Legitimate theatrical productions opening in any of the 41 eligible Broadway theaters from April 26, 2024 through April 27, 2025 were eligible for nominations. The Tony Awards are voted in 26 competitive categories by 840 designated Tony voters from within the theatre community.
