PLSN Staff • Product News • May 24, 2021

DURHAM, NC – ENTTEC is pleased to announce the latest S-PLAY firmware upgrade, packed with fantastic new features to make your favorite lighting show recorder even better!

More details from Enttec (

Access your S-PLAY from anywhere in the world over the internet.

Create Static Cues or play, stop or edit playlists and schedules on the run.

Use the new color picker to simplify static cue creation for all fixtures without needing an external lighting console. Or combine with S-PLAY’s timeline to create lighting states.

Ensure your content is ready to be seamlessly looped in the playlist with the new loop auto detection feature. Now there’s no need to use a trigger channel!

Send UDP commands to integrate a huge range of 3rd party products. Trigger digital signage systems, remote relays, projectors and much more.

Get more flexible and creative than ever before by incorporating Push to Break (PTB) or Push to Make (PTM) switches by simply configuring each digital input on the Triggers page.

Also – previously limited to Art-Net only – now use any existing Trigger method to ensure precise recording. Or capture cues from a lighting desk using the same DMX protocol they are recording from to determine the exact start and stop time (to within one DMX frame of accuracy).

Leave nothing to chance!

Speed up your workflow by previewing Static Cues, Dynamic Cues and Effects within the cue library itself – No need to make a playlist.

You can also now test Events and Triggers before you build them into your timeline thanks to a faster, redesigned interface.

Even the LCD menu has been refreshed too!
