LOS ANGELES – As part of NAMM’s Believe in Music Week, PLSN and FOH magazines are once again hosting Pro Production Sessions on Jan. 21 and 22.
The seminar series kicks off Jan. 21 with two sessions devoted to xR visual technologies. The first, titled “Welcome to the xR Revolution,” gives session attendees an introduction and overview to extended reality (xR) technology that is redefining the possibilities of live production environments.
PLSN contributor Michael S. Eddy and a panel of experts will offer a better understanding of the roles, the technologies and the terminology as this new discipline within entertainment production is fast establishing itself. Panelists include Nils Porrmann from dandelion + burdock, Laura Frank from frame:work and Ash Nehru from disguise.
Later on Jan. 21, Eddy will delve deeper into xR with the next session on Jan. 21 (at 3pm PST) titled “Leading the xR Revolution.” The Pro Production seminar series continues on Jan. 22 with sessions on production design (10am PST) and production management (2pm PST).
