In September 2020, 5 Words Media (an audio, video, and lighting production company located in Phoenix, AZ) launched Season 2 of their annual giveaway to support churches and provide an opportunity to receive a completely free AV & Lighting system valued at up to $200,000. Between #FreeChurchAV’s Season 2 launch on September 7th, 2020 until submissions closed on December 7th, 2020, completed entries from 906 churches from 43 states across the US were received.
After selecting and announcing Ohana Baptist Church as the winner, 5 Words Media began the process of fully evaluating their existing venue and gear, designing and building the perfect system for their facility and ministry needs, and are now traveling to Honolulu to complete installation this month. Ohana Baptist’s new AV & Lighting system features: a direct view LED Video wall from THOR: AV, a speaker system from Electro-Voice, microphones from Shure, lighting from Altman, ADJ & Elation Lighting, a digital audio console from Allen & Heath, video switching systems from Ross Video, PTZ cameras from Marshall Electronics, and so much more.
