ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — Staging Dimensions, Inc. helped the Borgata Water Club optimize usable floorspace for special events. The clear pool cover involved coming up with a modular system that was easy to assemble, disassemble and store. Staging Dimensions’ engineering department built the cover using standard, transparent 4-foot-by-4-foot decks and an aluminum support grid. The support system, for a 16-foot free span, is a self-aligning, interlocking grid with trunnion supports, allowing for uniform loading to the support surface, and the truss and mounts separate for easy storage.
The wood plank stair unit surrounding the pool cover was manufactured using the company’s standard deck design, and the wood surface was custom-stained to match the existing Ipe wood flooring in the facility.
