LAS VEGAS — Visitors to Las Vegas during LDI later this month might not be guaranteed a big payout at the casinos south of the Las Vegas Convention Center, but if they are also AT&T customers, they are guaranteed to break even on their fees for Wi-Fi usage along most of the Las Vegas Strip. AT&T has provided more than 60 free Wi-Fi access points along the Las Vegas strip as a public service of sorts for tourists and locals alike.

More details from AT&T (www.att.com):

Where: For two miles along Las Vegas Boulevard, from Sands Avenue (near Treasure Island and the Palazzo) to Tropicana Avenue (near the Tropicana and Excalibur).

Why: AT&T is giving its wireless customers the freedom to enjoy Wi-Fi along the iconic “Strip” — Las Vegas Boulevard. This free Wi-Fi service will not count against AT&T customers’ monthly data allotments.

“The Las Vegas Strip brings flocks of people from all walks of life looking to enjoy themselves. Our customers, whether locals and tourists, will enjoy free Wi-Fi to help enhance their wireless experience while visiting the Strip,” said Stephanie Tyler, president of AT&T Nevada. “We want everyone to have an extraordinary experience as they post pictures on social media, dine, or bring out of town guests to visit the storied Las Vegas Strip.”
