LAS VEGAS – Atmosphere Media, a Germany-based company specializing in high definition multi-channel entertainment, is extending its multimedia reach into upscale bars, hotels, casinos and beyond in the U.S., Canada and the Caribbean via Atmosphere NA, which is making its debut this week at InfoComm10, booth C7847. Atmosphere NA uses High Definition Multi-Channel Entertainment (HDME). It is a bold, new innovation in entertainment, one that allows environments to program music with a visual experience of the highest quality.

The HDME technology has been developed by Atmosphere Media for the global travel and leisure facilities market, and has four separate frame-accurate synchronized full HD multichannel playback tracks. HDME delivers a larger spectrum of picture information at the highest resolution (4k), in contrast to current television or film production standards.

"HDME captures viewers in a new and more emotional experience," says Atmosphere North America president Terry Lowe. "Music, film, and moods are displayed on full HD plasma or LCD displays, LED walls, or high-performance HD projectors. This is stunning cutting-edge technology, created for discriminating establishments. It absolutely mesmerizes patrons and creates a stimulating environment that people do not want to leave."

HDME will be setting the standard for content creation for social environments at:

  • Bars/Lounges
  • Resorts
  • Hotel Lobbies
  • Theme Parks
  • Casinos
  • Spas
  • Restaurants
  • Museums
  • Retail Shops
  • Cocktail Parties, Receptions, and Events
  • Cruise Ships

Atmosphere Media's Creative Director Alain Bertoni commented, "We are very pleased to have Atmosphere North America join our growing distribution network for Atmosphere's content. Having such a knowledgeable, experienced organization become involved with our product will ensure the success of our development in North America and the Caribbean."

All licensees can download new content every month to add to their repertoire of Atmosphere Music and Films.

"Atmosphere North America can create custom content that can be incorporated in your ongoing Atmosphere Music installation," Lowe says. He adds that the management team behind the new products comes from "an intuitive and intelligent understanding of music, film, and technology."
