LOS ANGELES — Tours for two high-profile rock acts have been sidelined as a result of unrelated injuries sustained by band members. Tour legs for Linkin Park’s Hunting Party tour and Black Keys’ Turn Blue tour were both canceled, scuttling 16 and 17 shows, respectively, in North America and Europe.

Linkin Park’s 2015 Hunting Party tour, which kicked off Jan. 15 in Orlando, was already underway when frontman Chester Bennington suffered a leg injury. The band canceled Jan. 20 and Jan. 21 shows in Pittsburgh, PA and Albany, NY before announcing that the rest of the North American show dates through Feb. 14 would have to be canceled as well to give Bennington a chance for his injuries to heal.

Black Keys’ Turn Blue tour had 17 shows lined up in Europe in February and March before drummer Patrick Carney dislocated his shoulder in an ocean swimming accident earlier this month. The European show dates were canceled along with the Black Keys’ Feb. 6 appearance as part of the 2015 MusiCares Person of the Year tribute to Bob Dylan in Los Angeles. The band hopes for the tour to resume as scheduled with an April 2 gig in Brisbane, Australia.
