This year’s party will be held from 7pm – 11pm in an open space with adjoining terrace on the west side of Manhattan, Sun West Studios. Tickets include an open bar, hors d’oeuvres, dinner stations and deserts. Individual tickets are $135, and sponsorships start at $2,500. The demand for assistance from Behind the Scenes, which provides financial support to entertainment technology professionals when they are seriously ill or injured, is now greater than ever. Grants may be used for medical care such as doctor or hospital bills, medications, and physical therapy or for basic living expenses such as rent, utilities, and food.
Those eligible for grants include production personnel and individuals from every discipline including audio, lighting, projection, scenic, and wardrobe – whether they work in the theatre or for one of the industry’s suppliers.
