ORLANDO — Authors Richard Cadena, James Moody and Steven Shelley will be squaring off later this week — not in a boxing ring or octagon, but at PLSN’s LDI booth #1506 (Friday, Nov. 20, from 3 to 4 p.m.).
And while the event is billed as “The Battle of the Titans,” visitors hoping for blood — or at least a few folding chair attacks — shouldn’t expect to see anything more serious than a paper cut.
“It’s really going to be just the authors hanging out, talking to people, answering questions and signing books,” said Cadena. But if there won’t be much trash-talking between the Titans themselves, they will be tag-teaming to defeat a more abstract, yet still-dangerous foe: ignorance.
The books being promoted include Electricity for the Entertainment Electrician and Technician by Richard Cadena, Concert Lighting, Third Edition by James Moody and Paul Dexter and A Practical Guide to Stage Lighting, Second Edition by Steven Shelley.
Those unable to attend the book-signings can still order these titles and more through www.plsnbookshelf.com
