MIAMI BEACH, FL – The 26th annual International Dance Music Awards (IDMA), hosted by Glassnote Entertainment Group owner Daniel Glass, featured performances by Cedric Gervais & Mya, Chris Willis, Dev & The Cataracs, Emii, Grace, Wynter Gordon and Zakes. The stage was lit with 15 Chauvet fixtures. Chauvet sponsored IDMA and the 26th annual Winter Music Conference. "We are pleased to be the only lighting manufacturer to sponsor this year's Winter Music Conference," said Albert Chauvet, CEO of Chauvet. "Chauvet proudly endorses the music and DJ industry as well as the community it fosters."
The lighting included seven Legend 6500 LED moving heads along the back of the stage as well as the DJ booth. Illuminating the DJ booth were three COLORstrip linear LED wash lights. Six COLORado 2 static LED wash lights were placed to uplight the clear columns and fabric backdrops on either side of the stage. Two COLORdash PAR LED wash lights were positioned under the podium, illuminating the projection surfaces that ensconced it.
"We are surrounded by Chauvet lights," said Junior Sanchez, music producer, remixer, and DJ, "and it's absolutely amazing. Beautiful!" Honorees at the event included Chris Willis, Armin Van Buuren and Duck Sauce, among others.
