NORTH CREEK, NY — Compulite’s console, Vector, has a new software release, 3.17, designed to accelerate programming and operation. Features include the ability to organize editing and playback screens in multiple workspaces, organized on tabs, and the ability to customize views and panes. The software also lets users edit an object’s attributes right on the grid (table) where they are viewing the data. Cue sheets, Qlists, Libraries, Groups, Macros, Snaps and Timelines can be grid-edited. A new “Desktop” feature is an area where users can drag different objects and activate them as on a PC desktop.
Users can also modify and customize desktop icons and assign ASCII “hot key” shortcuts, and define multiple Desktops and give each a unique name. The new release is also designed to allow faster matrix chaser programming with animated GIFs.
