JERSEY CITY, NJ — Daktronics and Upstage Video are once again supporting the All Points West Music & Arts Festival at Liberty State Park with a set of PST-12HD modular video displays for the main stage. The modular displays each measure 18 feet by 32 feet, and they were used for I-Mag and performance-related visuals along with crowd prompts and advertising for the event, which featured bands including Coldplay, Jay-Z and My Bloody Valentine.

“Last year was big, but this year should be even bigger,” said Doug Murray of Upstage Video, before the July 31-Aug. 2 event. “With this said, we needed an elite product that could provide high-quality video along with quick setup and teardown. Daktronics PST-12HD panels were hands-down the best fit.”

Additional displays, including a 9-foot-by-16-foot PST-12HD display at the event entrance and a 9-foot-by-16-foot mobile Daktronics LED display unit, were used for festival information.

The PST-12HD panels feature a staggered pixel layout to offer wider viewing angles, better image contrast and brightness for outdoor events. A modular building-block platform allows users to combine individual panels together to form large displays quickly.

“The PST-12HD design allows the screen to cut through even direct sunlight, giving fans a premium view of the action regardless of how bright the sun is,” said Myron Linde, Daktronics mobile and modular sales manager. “This makes it an ideal product for a festival like All Points West that goes on throughout the entire day.”
