FORT WAYNE, IN – Apollo Design noted that in the aftermath of a “severe” building fire early Dec. 9, the company is “unable to ship orders at this time.” Fire crews fought the blaze for more than seven hours, and the second floor of the structure reportedly collapsed. “Thankfully no one was injured,” the company noted, in a statement on apollodesign.net.
A company spokesman, Joel Nichols, noted in reports that while shipments of gobos and other products have been disrupted, the company’s Blue Pony (www.bluepony.com) motion media design operations continue and its Avid Labs production design division was expected to be up and running soon. An investigation on the cause of the fire, including whether arson was involved, continues, according to reports.
