LAS VEGAS – Digital Signage Expo 2020, originally scheduled for March 31-April 3 before getting postponed to November, has been canceled, and event organizer Exponation, the family business that also backs LED Specifier Summit, Lightshow West, DigitalSignageConnection.com and West Coast Lighting Insider, has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy.
Vendors received a statement citing the impact of Covid-19 has had on the live events industry, noting that Chapter 7 involves a liquidation of all assets and permanent closure of the company. Creditors will be mailed bankruptcy court instructions on filing a claim against Exponation’s limited remaining assets.
