DENVER – Soul Fuel Music provided 32 COLORado 1 Tour wash lights for the Be Beautiful, Be Yourself Jet Set Fashion Show 2010, a benefit for Global Down Syndrome Foundation. The event, produced by Rob Schenk, president and founder of Line Level ShowTek, was held at Hyatt Regency Denver at the Colorado Convention Center. It included a fashion show, auction and dinner with guests including Quincy Jones, Jamie Foxx, Survivor host Jeff Probst and Miss Colorado Melaina Shipwash.
The event's honorees included Timothy P. Shriver, Ph.D., who is chairman and CEO of Special Olympics, who received the 2010 Quincy Jones Award; DeOndra Dixon, sister to Jamie Foxx and 2009 recipient of the Quincy Jones Exceptional Advocacy Award; and Karen Gaffney, a champion swimmer and the 2010 recipient of the Quincy Jones Exceptional Advocacy Award.
COLORado 1 Tour wash lights lit over 160 feet of truss, the stage and runway. Models from Saks Fifth Avenue as well as children with Down syndrome served as models during the fashion show. Entertainment Tonight also covered the event.
Line Level ShowTek produces shows, seen on broadcast TV, required wash lights that would not flicker on camera, and that was part of the reason why the LED COLORado 1 Tour wash lights were chosen.
Soul Fuel Music owner Paul Kocel also credited the COLORado 1 Tour fixtures for other reasons as well. "They shine brighter, use less energy, offer more options and are overall the best value in professional LED lighting on the market today," Kocel said. "We are proud to offer them to all our clients."
