NEW YORK and LONDON – The membership of ESTA and PLASA have voted to merge their two organizations. ESTA held its voting via a month-long electronic balloting process. PLASA voting took place June 2 at its annual AGM in London. The merger, which is expected to be formalized by Dec. 2010 and be officially launched Jan. 1, 2011, will create a single international trade association operating as PLASA.
