THOUSAND OAKS, CA – Rusnak BMW recently hired DSI Entertainment Systems to inject fresh video imagery into their operation. DSI used Digital Projection Titan 1080p projectors, concealed within the ceiling, to light up custom-made rear projection screens that appear to float above the showroom floor.
Along with the showroom visuals, Rusnak uses a large piece of Stewart StarGlas as a digital billboard visible from the 101 Ventura freeway outside. It's lit with three edge-blended dVision 30-1080p projectors fed with marketing materials and dealer messaging.
Rusnak is using an additional dVision 30-1080p projector for a dedicated JBL Synthesis Digital Home Theater system so that its car-shopping customers can see HD movies via a Kaleidescape player. Another dVision projector gets put to work for employee training sessions, used in conjunction with a Polyvision interactive smartboard.
