NEW YORK – For a recent concert featuring Italy's Gigi D'Alessio at Radio City Music Hall, Coemar's Infinity ACL S and Infinity Wash XL fixtures played a key role, lighting the artist for the mid-February show and for taped performances shown on Italy's Rai1 in early March. The concert lighting design by Riccardo Bocchini was complemented by a 12-by-30-meter video wall, and during the show, D'Alessio sang duets with guests including Liza Minelli, Paul Anka, Anastacia and others.
Titled Gigi, tu vuò fa l'americano, the Rai1 shows, which aired March 4 and March 11, were a tribute to bandleader Renato Carosone.
Although the Infinity ACL S produces light comparable to a 1200W fixture, its energy use is closer to a 300W instrument. Features include indexable rotating aerial effects and a light beam that can be varied from 1.7° to 6°.
The Infinity Wash XL (the forerunners of the Infinity range) offer a proportional zoom range (5°-84°) and the rotating effects wheel (patent pending).
