Brutus Schwirtz, an ETCP-certified rigger, passed away in his sleep on Nov. 28, 2009. Schwirtz, 55, was in Detroit preparing for the Detroit Auto show with his son Shane. A resident of Apple Valley, Minn., Schwirtz was preceded in death by a twin sister, Pam. He is survived by his wife, Cindy, his parents, Elroy and Jan, siblings Gayle, Barb, Cindy, Joe and Jodi, sons Shane and Jake and two grandchildren. Visitation and burial services were set for Dec. 4 and 5 in Eagan and Burnsville, Minn.
