HUNTSVILLE, AL — Janet Wilks Milly, wife of Theatrical Lighting Systems (TLS) founder and 4Wall executive David E. Milly, died Feb. 19, 2014. Before retiring as its chief financial officer in 2004, Janet Milly had played an active role at TLS, Inc., which David Milly founded in 1981. TLS’ assets became part of 4Wall in 2012, when David Milly joined 4Wall as executive vice president and co-owner of its newly-launched Nashville operation.
Janet Milly was born in Detroit to Lynell and Avis Hays Wilks. After graduation from Arab High School, she attended Snead State Community College. She was a closet artist, an avid reader, and a Snoopy fan.
Janet Milly was preceded in death by her parents. Along with David E. Milly, here husband of 33 years, survivors include three sisters, a brother, sisters and brothers in law, numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
Visitation was set for 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22 at Laughlin Funeral Home in Huntsville, AL. A graveside service was set for 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 23 at New Canaan Baptist Church, 965 County Road 1845, Arab, AL.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her honor to Multiple Sclerosis or Muscular Dystrophy Association of your choice.
